Regeneration or Substitution—which are you choosing?

Regeneration or Substitution—which are you choosing?

Why is that an important question?

Why does it even matter?

Because your choice affects your quality of life!

credit cards or cash
Let’s start with an example:

Credit cards are a convenient substitute for cash, which is an advantage to 1) carrying a lot of cash around and 2) makes bookkeeping a little simpler. And 3) they can be useful in a financial crisis. But what if you have a lifestyle of never budgeting your income to pay off the credit cards?  That leads to bankruptcy.  What we think is a lifestyle of freedom can often create enslavement!

What if we live a lifestyle of choosing the convenience of consuming processed ‘fast foods’ in boxes to save ourselves the time and energy it takes to cook? Or what if we choose sugary ‘fake foods’ to soothe our emotions rather than address what’s causing them? That’s when we’re choosing substitution! Choosing low-quality ‘substitute’ foods eventually leads to a health crisis in our body; and we end up enslaved to medications for illness that our choice of lifestyle created.

The Philosophy of Regeneration

Our body was designed to use natural fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and water as high-quality fuel to create optimum health. When we eat enough quality whole food, our body has the energy to 1) accomplish our daily 'to do' list.  Our body also needs water and energy 2) to cleanse itself. The daily residue, left from all the chemical reactions that occur in our cells and organs, needs to be flushed out to avoid accumulation of toxins that create illness.

If we have enough quality fuel left over after the day’s needs, the body can use this extra nutrition to 3) heal imbalances from our past indiscretions. When our body has enough quality daily nutrition, it properly functions as it was designed: to repair and heal itself!  We were designed to regenerate, but we need adequate quality nutrition to do so! Sunrider nutrient-dense foods give your body the additional fuel it needs to regenerate!
