Healthy Gut = Healthy You!
Have you ever wondered why two people who have the same exposure experience different outcomes – one gets sick, but the other doesn’t? The difference boils down to their immune system. Did you know that 70% to 80% of your immune system lives in your gut? Dr. Will Bulsiewicz, known as the gut doctor, explains that the foundation of a healthy gut is in the fiber in whole foods. And it's important to eat a large variety of fruits and vegetables (suggested 20 to 30 different varieties per week) because each one has its own unique fiber that gives you a larger variety of good bacteria to boost your immunity. Since this isn't always convenient, I add Quinary to my daily meals. We follow his suggestion of adding a sprinkle of cinnamon, turmeric, and ginger powder (about 1/8 tsp of each) into our coffee so it becomes a food that improves our gut health. It's delicious! Of course, you need to shift sugar to honey and substitute a plant milk, like oat, for the flavored creame
