Healthy Gut = Healthy You!
Have you ever wondered why two people who have the same
exposure experience different outcomes – one gets sick, but the other doesn’t? The
difference boils down to their immune system.
Did you know that 70% to 80% of your immune system lives in your gut? Dr. Will Bulsiewicz, known as the gut doctor, explains that the foundation of a healthy gut is in the fiber in whole foods. And it's important to eat a large variety of fruits and vegetables (suggested 20 to 30 different varieties per week) because each one has its own unique fiber that gives you a larger variety of good bacteria to boost your immunity. Since this isn't always convenient, I add Quinary to my daily meals. We follow his suggestion of adding a sprinkle of cinnamon, turmeric, and ginger powder (about 1/8 tsp of each) into our coffee so it becomes a food that improves our gut health. It's delicious! Of course, you need to shift sugar to honey and substitute a plant milk, like oat, for the flavored creamers.

If you’ve ever attended one of my Health Workshops, you may have heard about my mom suffering from irritable bowel syndrome for several decades, having to carry an extra set of clothes every time she left home. It affected her self-esteem and created anxiety! J.J. Virgin’s Diet helped us identify and eliminate the foods that triggered the IBS, but that created feelings of deprivation. After one of my workshops, mom decided to try Sunrider’s Vitadophilus and began consuming it as recommended. She experienced bowel improvement within 3 days; and I’ve noticed that she’s ALOT less anxious! Inspired by her experience and the gut education mentioned above, this concentrated blend is now part of my morning wake-up ritual. I’m experiencing benefits also.
